La Maison

Your adventure begins when you board a private boat at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.  Should you wish, you may even enjoy a glass of champagne as the captain takes you to your own private paradise!

The home, constructed by the architect Eric-Daniel Lacombe to resemble a boulder at the water's edge, is reminiscent of the mansions that can be found in Miami, Florida.  This villa has one of Paris' most beautiful backdrops, and is well protected from the view of others.  You will find that the design of the apartment has been well thought out and will meet even your most discerning needs. 

A pleasant addition to the property is the lush, green, 2150 sq ft garden that is decorated with art pieces by Nathalie Decoster.  The generously sized teak wood deck has a heated swimming pool with a wooden floor that can be raised or lowered like an elevator, allowing you to enjoy the pool or hide it should you wish to use the space for other purposes.  

Hoping to spend more time out on the water?  There are canoes and kayaks equipped with oars and paddles available for you to take out whenever you like, allowing you to experience a whole new side of the French capital.  Should you prefer to visit the heart of Paris, your captain will gladly take you.  The skipper is available day and night for private excursions.  

Inside of the grandiose villa you will immediately realize that each room has been designed and furnished to offer you a vacation stay with optimum convenience and luxury.  The oak, steel and concrete used in the construction of this mansion were specifically chosen for the many decorative and practical possibilities that these materials possess, making each new room a splendid and dazzling experience.   

On the ground level there is a bar constructed with steel and wood, giving a warm vibe to the grand living room.  A double sided fireplace allows you to enjoy it from either the living room or the dining room located on the other side.  With beautiful, bay-style windows you will be able to enjoy a magnificent view of the terrace, pool and garden.  As the windows are retractable, you may wish to enjoy this as an outdoor space depending on the weather and your mood.  The ceilings are very high, with skylights, adding a whole new dynamic to this already astonishingly beautiful home.  The immense kitchen is fully equipped with professional equipment, and has direct access to the covered terrace.  With this set up you can enjoy an outdoor dinner, rain or shine.

On the first floor you will discover an entirely different view of the garden, and can even admire the Seine river from the bay windows.  Should you have any music aficionados in your company, the music room on this floor has a magnificent Steinway & Son grand piano that they will be sure to appreciate.  A media room allows for the comfortable viewing of movies amongst friends and family, but also doubles as a room for professional meetings.  In this room there is also a work of art designed by sculptor Stevens Dossou Youvo.  It is made of metallic cubes the appear to be weightlessly suspended in air, allowing you a unique opportunity to showcase your products or belongings. 

On the second floor a library area with over 800 books collected by a Brazilian literature lover.   Wood, steel and concrete are used in a variety of ways to create a unique feel in each of the 3 suites also found on the second floor.  The first, which focuses on the use of steel, encases a large work space overlooking the garden.  It gives the feel of a refined and stylish industrial office.  The second suite highlights the use of wood in its construction, as you will notice immediately when you see the bed held up by a wooden platform.  This peaceful room has a view of the Seine and the garden.  Finally the third suite, which is created in a loft style, showcases the use of concrete.  As an extra special touch, the lovely shower is even made to seem it has been carved out of stone.  Each of these 3 suites has its own private bathroom and a private dressing area.

The third floor houses the main suite, designed for maximum comfort.  The bedroom is a truly peaceful haven. A romantic fireplace (ethanol fueled) is built into the wall, and a large bay window offers a magnificent view.  From the cozy confines of this luxurious bedroom suite you can take in the beauty of the outdoors.

The bathroom that belongs to the main suite takes both luxury and leisure to a whole new level.  Depending on your mood you can enjoy a long soak in the decadent built in bath tub or rinse off in the beautiful two person shower.  Then prepare yourself for an evening out at your personal dressing table!  You'll also be spoiled with your own personal jacuzzi on the outdoor balcony.  In case this is not enough, the main suite also has a spacious dressing room, a fully equipped gym, and a large turkish-style steam room. 

In addition to all of the above listed features of the home there is also a laundry facility on each level, plenty of storage areas, and a private apartment with its own separate entrance.  The elevator stops at each floor, making it easy for those with reduced mobility to enjoy everything the home has to offer.  There is also a garage with space for 2 cars.    

The location of this home in the heart of Ile Saint Germain at Issy les Moulineaux is truly unmatchable, and your stay here is sure to feel almost surreal.  The home is located in a lush and green area.  On one side of the home is an incredible 44.5 acre park with a natural garden, a poney club and a restaurant.  Surrounding this architectural marvel you will find the studios of many artists as well as other privileged accommodations.  Ile Saint Germain is understandably one of the preferred locations for those who wish to indulge in the ultimate luxuries in a truly private and intimate setting.
