When you open the front door of this home you will immediately notice the beautiful design with its perfect blend of colors that add to the overall elegance of the space.  The home was constructed just 3 years ago in 2012 in a private cul-de-sac off of Rue Benoît Malon, just next to the RER B suburb train line on the very edge of Paris in the district of Gentilly.  Using the RER you can travel directly to Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame and to Chatelet, which is Paris’ main transportation hub.  Nearby, at Gare de Nord, you can catch the Eurostar or easily get to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. 

With just under 1,000 sq feet of space (90 m2), the appropriately named Le Verrière (literally "glass roof") accommodation opens to a garden where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun.  A truly peaceful and quiet haven, this house boasts 5m high bay windows and has three levels. The ground floor consists of a convivial dining-room, relaxing modern sofa, bookshelves and an open, well-equipped kitchen.  When you climb the oak stairs to the first floor you will find there is a perfect place to relax with a comfortable sofa situated in front of a large flat-screen tv with Netflix and Youtube access using an Apple TV.  On the second floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate WC.  Ideal for up to 4 people, the master bedroom is on the third floor .  It has a shower, a large modern bed and a tv screen.  There is also plenty of closet space for your clothing and and other belongings.  A few important amenities of the home include: a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, clothes washer, iron, flat screen TV and Apple TV, DVD player, wifi, tea kettle, and a vacuum. 

The Gentilly district can be found just at the edge of Paris, and is considered part of the Val-de-Marne district of the Île-de-France region.  The atmosphere of this area is warm and friendly.  There are many shops, bakeries and pharmacies close by, including a supermarket that is open seven days a week, just 300 feet away.  Beginning in the month of July, there is also a private parking space that protects your vehicle from the sun.  You can get to the beautiful Montsouris park in just 15 minutes, and the Charlety sports stadium in a mere 10 minutes. The Tramway line here provides a direct line to Vincennes in one direction and the Exhibition centre at the Porte de Versailles in the other.
